First announcement of IAB 2013 meeting

We are pleased to announce that the 2013 IAB Congress will be held in the Natural History Museum, London from 15-19 July 2013, followed by a post-conference field trip to North Wales, from 20-26 July.

Full details of the programme structure and the range of accommodation options near to the Museum will be announced shortly.

We are planning a varied and novel series of symposia and are arranging the programme so that all those wishing to give oral presentations and/ or present posters will be able to do so. Registration will be in the morning of Monday 15th July with the first symposium beginning in the afternoon. In addition to the oral presentation sessions there will be a wine reception with poster displays on Tuesday 16th and a special Congress Dinner on Thursday 18th July. The programme will also include 2 half day excursions to local sites of special bryological interest.

For those wishing to stay on after the Congress we are arranging a  field excursion from 20th-26th July to North Wales, where we will explore a variety of exciting bryological habitats.
